A charming weighted, hand-thrown studio pottery jug, with a beautiful hand applied celadon glaze. The pale blue, semi-translucent finish softly drips over the red clay body, highlighting it's depth, gloss, and ability to accentuate the throwing lines and carved textures which is beautifully highlighted just under the handle. A lovely example of  contemporary British studio pottery, artisan - signed with maker's mark impressed on base.
