A beautiful pair of matching vintage East German pottery jugs, each with a compact bulbous form, narrow neck and small pouring lip. Their rich chocolate-brown bodies are accented by green flowing glaze around the neck, collar and upper handle. Impressed with model number 1175, and "Made in Germany"to the bases, strongly associated with VEB Strehla, although the maker's name is not present.
